THOWVS STREAM PACKAGE
This project was requested from a friend of mine. He wanted a complete package of animations, overlays and logos for his Twitch channel "Thowvs". So for this project, instead of just using already existing branding and animating it, I had to make the branding from scratch.
Firstly, I created logo concepts and sent them over to the client. As seen in the picture below, I wanted to make a stylish logo of the name and have as sharp edges as possible. I believed curved edges would convey a more friendly logo, which is not the case here. The sharp logo gives the viewers a feeling of structure and elegance.
After the client chose the logo he liked the most, I went to create a quick branding template where the font, color schemes and logos are put together.
After that, it was time for me to animate the overlays for the Twitch streams. I now had a guide to look back to when creating the overlays. As seen in the final images below, you can only see sharp edges and simple shapes. These components fit the branding perfectly.
